Nation is celebrating culminating event of “Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” with “Meri Maati Mera Desh”, with the tagline `Mitti ko naman, veeron ka vandan,’, during 9th-30th, August to commemorate 75 years of

India’s independence to honor freedom fighters/braves who protect the nation and families of braves.

It involves paying tribute to the ‘Veers’ who protect our nation. You are requested to participate in the ceremonies which would be conducted at the level of village, Panchayat, Block, Urban Local body, State and National level.

You are also requested to take panch pran pledge with a fistful of soil/earthen diya in the dedicated website http://merimaatimeradesh.gov.in and also upload the photograph on the website http://merimaatimeradesh.gov.in. Selfies may be shared/posted/tagged using the tagline “Mitti Ko Naman, Veeron Ka Vandan” in your social media handles.
