Mukhya Mantri Lok Sevok Arogya Yojana is a health insurance scheme launched on July 19, 2023, by the state government for the state government employees of Assam.
Within this scheme, the existing reimbursement scheme for state government employees will be replaced with this one. In order to take advantage of this scheme, the user must register at the district kiosk. Please note that this scheme is totally optional and is way better than the existing model of the same. Mukhya Mantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana which will start on October 2, in the first year, a 50% contribution will be given by the government to each of the class III and class IV employees. The scheme encloses a comprehensive list of 1949 medical procedures spanning across 27 different specialties.
This Scheme not only includes families covered by the National Food Security program but also extends its benefits to over 30 lakh AB-PMJAY families.
Approximately 26 lakh families are expected to be encloses within the “Ayushman Asom-Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana”.

- MMLSAY will have the following processing methods>>
- Beneficiaries, with their dependents, can register themselves or visit district kiosks for registration.
- Kiosks will be available at either the Jt. Director of Health Services Office or State Medical College.
- Medical treatment costs will be reimbursed based on CGHS-approved rate.
- Beneficiaries can request advance payments through online.
- Advance reimbursements Would be directly sent to hospitals.
- One single IT Platform will handle end-to-end claim processing.
- The processes will be Aadhaar-linked to prevent fraudulent claims.
- Reimbursements will completed within a fixed timeframe of 90 days.
