Dear friends, season’s Greetings,Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is being celebrated since March 2021 to celebrate 75 years of India’s Independence.15th August every year, all the citizen of India celebrates Independence.

15th August every year, all the citizen of India celebrates Independence Day. You are requested to hoist the Indian National Flag in your residence/office premises from 13th to 15th August and upload selfies with Tiranga on the website www.Harghartiranga.com under Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

Nation is celebrating culminating event of “Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” with “Meri Maati Mera Desh”, with the tagline `Mitti ko naman, veeron ka vandan`, during 9th-30th, August to commemorate 75 years of India’s independence to honor freedom fighters/braves who protect the nation and families of braves.

It involves paying tribute to the ‘Veers’ who protect our nation. You are requested to participate in the ceremonies which would be conducted at the level of village, Panchayat, Block, Urban Local body, State and National level.

 

 

In up coming Independence Day on 15th August, 2023, the Government of India has launched “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign 2.0 in which all Citizens are encouraged to participate in hoisting the National Flag in their homes.

In this campaign, Department of Posts is the agency for sale and distribution of quality National Flags to all members of public at very reasonable rate.

Department of Posts is requesting all Government/Private Institutions/Semi Government, Corporations, Local Bodies, PSU etc. to communicate to them their requirement of National Flags for their offices & staff by 7th August, 2023 for enabling the Department for timely supply of National Flags.
